Is your pet too playful to sleep at night? It might be because of exposure to blue light. Mammals have a circadian rhythm, which programs the sleep cycle. Light bulbs with a spectrum close to sunlight emit blue light, which could interfere with your pet's sleep cycle. Reducing the blue light in the evening could alleviate this problem.

Dogs may perceive light differently. What we see as a continuous smooth light (anywhere over 24Hz), can be strobes of light as they see intervals of light and dark up to 80Hz, so they don’t enjoy TV as well! The DC converter for some LED lights produce flicker. It would be scary to live in a place that lights flicker all the time. Be sure to choose pet friendly LED lights, so that they can relax as well.
